  • 1 cup boiled taro
  • 1 tsp Saffola oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 2 chopped green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup chopped spring onions
  • 2 tbsp chopped spring onion leaves
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 chopped green chilly
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp soya sauce
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

How to make Arbi Manchurian

  • In a mixing bowl add taro, onions, ginger, green chillies, salt, pepper, corn flour and mix well.
  • Make small balls of the mixture.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add garlic, spring onions, spring onion leaves, onions, chillies, ginger, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce and cook for 1 min.
  • Add soya sauce and vinegar to the gravy and cook for 2-3 mins.
  • Make a mixture of water and corn flour and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in another pan.
  • Dust the taro balls with corn flour and shallow fry the balls in the pan.
  • Add vegetable stock, salt, pepper, corn flour mixture to the gravy and cook for 1 min.
  • Add the fried balls to the manchurian gravy. Serve hot.
