Ingredients

Broccoli Bites

 

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated cheddar
  • 1 packet Saffola masala peppy tomato oats
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fine suji
  • 1-1/2  tablebspoon Saffola oil

 

Barbeque Sauce

 

  • 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon kasundi {mustard paste}
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon honey

 

How to make Broccoli Bites with Barbeque Sauce

For Broccoli Bites

 

  • Place broccoli in a heatproof bowl and cook for 2 minutes on full power in the microwave. Cool a little, then chop into tiny pieces. {or steam if you like}
  • Take a large bowl and add the broccoli and remaining ingredients except oil. Mix well to bring everything together kneading gently. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  • Divide into 10-12 portions, roll into balls, toss in the suji and keep on a plate
  • Heat half the oil in a heavy bottom pan. Gently slide the balls in, moving the pan with the handle to they get coated with oil. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, then drizzle remaining oil and simmer until light golden brown
  • Serve with bbq sauce

 

For Barbeque Sauce

 

  • Place all ingredients in a heatproof bowl, cover with cling wrap and microwave for 1 minute. Stir well, then taste and adjust seasoning
