Butter Garlic Prawns Recipe

The Butter Garlic Prawns is a delicious recipe where the prawns cooked in butter, garlic, lemon juice and parsley. The addition of mustard brings out great taste to this dish. Serve with fresh crusty bread along with a soup for dinner.

    • 400 grams prawns, peeled and deveined
    • 12 -15 garlic cloves
    • 4 tablespoons butter
    • 1 tablespoon Saffola oil
    • 1 tablespoon mustard paste
    • 8-10 black peppercorns, crushed
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • A few sprigs of fresh parsley, finely chopped

How to make Butter Garlic Prawns

    • Peel, wash and grind garlic to a paste.Heat butter in a pan and fry garlic paste for a few seconds
    • Add prawns, mustard paste, lemon juice, crushed peppercorns and salt
    • Simmer, uncovered, on low heat till prawns are cooked
    • Add lemon juice, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot with toothpicks
