Ingredients

    • Plain yogurt 200 grams
    • 1 cup Ginger minced 10 grams
    • 1tsp Garlic minced 20grams
    • 2tsp Curry powder 5 grams
    • 1/2tsp Lemon Wedges for garnish 2
    • For Chicken Boneless chicken breasts,500 gms
    • 3 1/4 th cups wooden skewers, soaked in water 30 minutes
    • Saffola Active Oil - 2 tbsp 30 ml
    • 1 1/2 tbsp For sauce
    • Tomatoes 100 grams
    • 1/2 cup Smooth peanut butter 10grams
    • 1tsp Soy sauce 10grams
    • 1tsp Thai red chili 3-4
    • Brown sugar 10 grams 1tsp
    • Juice of a lime 20 grams
    • 2tsp Chives 20 grams 2tsp

How to make Chicken Satay

    • Combine the yogurt, salt, ginger, garlic, and curry powder in a bowl,. Place the chicken strips in the yogurt and marinade for 1 hour.
    • Pierce soaked skewers in and out of the chicken pieces, so that it’s easy to hold and turn them on the grill.
    • On medium heat place a grill pan and brush it with oil to prevent sticking. Grill the chicken satays for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, until nicely cooked .
    • Combine the tomatoes, peanut butter, soy sauce, red chili paste, brown sugar, and lime juice in a blender till smooth.
    • In a pan, heat oil and cook the sauce till the oil leaves from the sides and cook each chicken satay till the flavors seep in and it is well coated on each side.
    • Serve garnished with chives and lemon slices.
