Healthy Green Pizza Recipe

Sufficiently packed with calcium, iron, carotene, good fibre, and yes, full of taste, this veggie-loaded treat is one for all to relish. And Pallavi Gupta will show how easily a Green Pizza could be prepared in your kitchen.

    For the Base


    • 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    • 2 tablespoon activated yeast
    • 1/2 cup pureed green (spinach, fenugreek, basil)
    • 2 teaspoon salt
    • water as needed
    • 2 teaspoon Saffola oil


    For the Toppings


    • 1 zucchini, chopped 
    • 1/2 cup sliced capsicum
    • salt to taste
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1/2 cup mushrooms
    • 1/2 cup caramelized onions
    • 1/4 cup feta cheese
    • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
    • 3-4 leaves of basil 

How to make Healthy Green Pizza

    • In a mixing bowl add wheat flour, activated yeast, pureed green, salt, water and knead dough into a ball. Rest the dough
    • Roll the rested dough to form a pizza base and pierce it with a fork
    • Place the pizza base on a baking sheet and prebake for 10 mins at 180 degrees
    • Heat oil in a pan. Add zucchini, capsicum, salt, dried oregano, mushrooms and cook for 2-3 mins
    • Brush oil on the pizza base. Top it with caramelized onions, cooked vegetables, feta cheese and bake for 10 mins at 180 degrees
    • Add balsamic vinegar and basil to finish the pizza
