  • 8 boiled eggs 
  • 1 packet Saffola Masala Oats Italian
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon pickled jalapenos {or carrot}, chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoon cottage cheese, grated 
  • 1 tablespoon basil, finely chopped

How to make Italian Filled Egg

  • Dry roast the Saffola Masala Oats Italian in a pan until light brown and fragrant, and top with hot water. Let stand while you boil the eggs
  • Boil eggs and shell when cool enough to handle. Slice into halves, lengthwise and scoop out yolks gently
  • Use only 3 yolks, and keep the remaining for a salad etc
  • Place the warm yolks, cooked oats, both cheese, jalapenos and basil in a bowl and mix well until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning if required
  • Fill or pipe into cavities of egg whites, garnish with remaining basil. Serve warm, at room temperature or chilled
