Ingredients

    • 1 tbsp saffola oil
    • 1 tsp cumin
    • 2 pieces clove
    • 1 piece cinnamon
    • 4-5 pieces cardamom
    • 1 cup chopped onions
    • 1 tbsp ginger & garlic paste
    • 1 tbsp chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 cup tomato puree
    • 1 cup crushed bottle gourd
    • 2 cups bottle gourd water
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 tsp saffron
    • 1 cup rice

How to make Lauki Biryani

    • Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin, clove, cinnamon, cardamom & cook for 1min.
    • Add onions & cook for 1min.
    • Add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, cook for 2mins.
    • Add tomato puree & cook for  5mins.
    • Add bottle gourd & cook for 3-4mins.
    • Add bottle gourd water, mix well, add brown rice & cook for 15mins.
    • Heat water in a pan, add saffron & rice.
    • Add the saffron rice to the brown rice & cook for 5mins.
