Masala Oats Spring Uttapam Recipe

Keep your coffee ready as here’s a meal you’d love to sip it with.  This utterly delicious & healthy masala oats dish takes South Indian culinary traits to an all new healthier direction with its high protein & fibre content.

    • 2 packets of Saffola classic masala oats
    • 1/2 capsicum, chopped 
    • 2-3 spring onion greens
    • 1 green chilly, chopped 
    • 1 cup rice flour
    • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    • 1/4 cup semolina
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
    • 4 cloves of garlic, chopped 
    • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
    • 3 cups of water
    • 1 teaspoon Saffola oil
    • 1 teaspoon onions, chopped 
    • 1/2 teaspoon green chillies, chopped 
    • 1 teaspoon capsicum, chopped 
    • 1 teaspoon pomegranate
    • 1 teaspoon black pepper

How to make Masala Oats Spring Uttapam

    • In a mixing bowl add Saffola masala oats classic masala, capsicum, spring onion greens, green chilly, rice flour, whole wheat flour, semolina, salt, pepper, coriander powder, garlic, cumin powder and mix well

    • Add water and mix the ingredients. Add the mixture to a mixer jar and form a smooth batter. Grease the pan with Saffola oil and spread the batter evenly on the pan

    • Add onion, green chilly, capsicum, pomegranate, black pepper and cook on one side for about 2-3 minutes and flip the uttapam
