Mix Veg Paniyaram Recipe

Paniyaram is one of the many dishes from South India and is also known as Puddu or Appe. The rice and dal batter can be mixed with mixed vegetables and cooked in a special Paniyaram pan for a wholesome breakfast. It can be served along some coconut or tomato chutney.

Ingredients

  • Dosa Batter – 2 cups 150 g
  • Saffola Veggie Twist oats – 40 g
  • Onion – ½ cup 50 g
  • Tomato – ½ cup 50 g
  • Carrot – 2 tbsp 5 g
  • Beans – 2 tbsp 5 g
  • Green chilli – 1 tsp 5 g
  • Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp 5 g
  • Grated fresh paneer – 2 tbsp5 g
  • Hing – ¼ tsp 0.5 g
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tsp g
  • Salt to taste
  • Saffola Active Oil for Brushing

How to make Mix Veg Paniyaram

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  • Heat a paniyaram pan on medium heat.
  • Brush little oil in the cavities to avoid paniyaram from sticking on the pan.
  • Pour little batter in the pan cavities and cover the pan.
  • Cook till paniyarams are slightly browned from the bottom.
  • Turn the paniyaram and cook on the other side uncovered till slightly browned.
  • Remove from the pan.
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney or any other chutney of your choice.
