Ingredients

For Koftas:

 

  • 250 gram of paneer
  • salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon green chillies, chopped 
  • 1 tablespoon dried fenugreek leaves
  • 1 tablespoon gram flour
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

 

For the Curry:

 

  • 1 teaspoon jeera
  • 1 teaspoon Saffola oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, chopped 
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, chopped 
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder (elaichi powder)
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 3 tablespoon whipped curd
  • whipped curd for garnish
  • coriander leaves for garnish

How to make Non-Fried Paneer Kofta Curry

  • In a mixing bowl add paneer, salt, garam masala, red chilli powder, green chillies, dried fenugreek leaves, gram flour, turmeric powder and mix well
  • Make small koftas of the mixture
  • Place the koftas over a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 degree
  • Heat oil in a pan add jeera, ginger, honey, garlic, tomato puree, turmeric powder, cardamom powder, garam masala and cook for 2-3 minutes
  • Add whipped curd to the curry and mix well. Pour the sauce into a serving plate and place the koftas over it. Garnish with curd and coriander leaves
