Oats Mutton Soup Recipe

Ingredients

    • Mutton bones,chopped into small pieces 2 cups
    • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp
    • Tomatoes,chopped 1 cup
    • Salt 1½ tsp 
    • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
    • Black pepper,whole 1 tsp
    • Water 6 cups
    • Saffola Natural Oats-Plain 1 cup
    • Saffola Aura Refined Olive & Flaxseed Oil 1 tsp
    • Green chillies 3
    • Vegetable stock cubes 2  
    • Sweet corn 1 cup
    • Vinegar 1 tsp 
    • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp

How to make Oats Mutton Soup

    • Pressure cook mutton bones with ginger-garlic paste, chopped tomatoes, 1 tsp salt, turmeric powder, whole black pepper and 3 cups water for 40-50 minutes on medium-low flame.
    • Dry roast Saffola Natural Oats-Plain in a wok and keep aside. 
    • Heat Saffola Aura Refined Olive & Flaxseed Oil in a pan and sauté green chillies. 
    • Add vegetable stock cubes and mix with 3 cups water. Cook on medium flame till it thickens.
    • Pour the mutton bones broth into this, bring to boil and then simmer for 15-20 minutes. Cook till it becomes somewhat thick.
    • Add sweet corn and let it boil again. 
    • Take off the flame and add vinegar and ½ tsp salt, stirring well. 
    • Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve piping hot as a lead-up to dinner.
