Saffola Masala Oats Panner Tikka Recipe

Saffola Masala Oats Paneer Tikka is one of North India’s most popular snacks that get a healthy avatar. With Saffola Masala Oats in the marinade, the flavours of pepper and spice pair beautifully with the much loved paneer. The oats also give the marinade enough body to coat the paneer.

Ingredients

    • 400 gram paneer, cut into 1” cubes
    • 1/2 cup thick low-fat yogurt
    • 1/2 packet Saffola pepper and spice
    • 1 lime juice
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon dried kasuri methi
    • 1/2 teaspoon degi mirch
    • 1/2 teaspoon black rock salt
    • 1 red bell pepper, 1" pieces
    • 1 yellow bell pepper, 1" pieces
    • 20 pearl onions
    • 1 tablespoon Saffola oil 

How to make Saffola Masala Oats Panner Tikka

    • Soak 8-10 bamboo skewers in water for 3 minutes
    • Place yogurt in a large bowl with Saffola Masala Oats, lime juice, garlic, kasuri methi and rock salt. Whisk until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning as required
    • Gently mix the paneer cubes in to coat all pieces. Leave for 30 minutes in fridge
    • Thread the paneer pieces on the skewers alternating with bell pepper pieces, using a pearl onion in the beginning and end
    • Heat a heavy bottom non-stick pan with 1/2 tbsp oil. Spread the oil to coat the pan. Place 1/2 the skewers into the sizzling hot pan, and turn every 2 minutes to get a nice brown crust 
    • Repeat with remaining skewers
    • Serve immediately with a salad, lime halves, chutney etc
