Ingredients

For Koftas

 

  • 1 packet Saffola classic masala oats
  • 1 boiled raw Banana
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 5 tablespoon besan
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seed
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Saffola oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • salt as per taste

 

For Sauce

 

  • 1 tablespoon Saffola oil
  • 2 onion
  • 1 garlic
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 5 tablespoons almond cream
  • 1 tablespoon wheat flour
  • water as required
  • 1 cinnamon
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon wheat flour
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon haldi

How to make Saffola Oats Malai Kofta

  • Preheat the oven at 175C
  • Take a pan and 1 teaspoon Saffola oil and then add jeera, when jeera splutters up then add 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion and ginger and garlic and saute them a little for about 5-6 minutes
  • When it starts to change color, then lower the flame and add besan and stir it for 1 minute
  • Then add water 1 cup water and then add Saffola masala oats classic masala and keep on stirring it till it starts to get thicken and then turn off the flame and keep it aside
  • When the Saffola Oats mixture cools down a little bit, then add boiled mashed raw Banana and add flour, coriander leaves finely chopped, salt, red chilli powder, a little oil and mix it well
  • Add some drops of water and make a smooth dough
  • Make round balls of this mixture add keep one raisin in the middle of each ball and close it properly
  • Bake these Saffola Oats koftas in the preheated. Oven for 15 minutes or until the balls form a crust. Once done  keep them aside
  • Take a small bowl and add flour and add water and make a thin batter and keep it aside
  • Take a saucepan and add oil
  • Then add jeera, and when jeera starts to change color then add tej paata, cloves, sukha dhaniya and stir fry and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes
  • Then add other 1 finely chopped onions and stir it well
  • When onions starts to leave oil by its sides, then add ginger and garlic and then add chopped green chillies and cook it for another 3 minutes
  • Then add finely chopped tomato and add then red chilli powder, garam masala, haldi and salt as per taste and mix it well
  • When tomato starts to leave oil then add 1 cup water bring to a boil and then add Saffola Oats koftas and also add full cream and mix it well
  • Also add mixture of flour and then bring to a boil. Garnish it with chopped corainder leaves and serve it with aloo naan or steamred rice
  • Saffola Oats Malai Koftas are ready to be served
