Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon Saffola oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2” piece ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped {or 2 spring onions with greens}
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 10 leaves spinach, chopped
  • 1 small carrot, finely chopped
  • 1/4 head cauliflower, grated
  • 1 small cucumber, finely chopped
  • 2 packets Saffola classic masala oats
  • 1 teaspoon Schezwan sauce
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper if required
  • 1 small lime juice

How to make Schezwan Saffola Oats

  • Heat oil in a wok. Add ginger garlic and stir-fry for 2 minutes until fragrant
  • Add finely chopped onion/spring onion and stir for a few minutes until they turn pink. Now add finely chopped vegetables and mix well.Take off heat, and stir in cucumber
  • In another pan cook two packets of Saffola classic masala oats as per the instructions given on the packet (Boil 3 cups of water and add Saffola classic masala oats and cook for 4-5 mins)
  • Stir the vegetables and 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper into cooked oats. Stir in 1 teaspoon of Schezwan sauce.Taste and adjust seasoning
