The Spaghetti Arrabiata pasta is a quick pasta dish, with simple flavours of tomato, chilli, basil and garlic. With the addition of spinach, it becomes an even more nutritious affair. It makes for a great weeknight dinner for family, and the kids will love it too.
How to make Spaghetti Arrabiata with Spinach And Oat
First, cook the pasta until al dente along with salt in boiling hot water. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and rinse under cold water. Keep aside.
In a wok or a heavy bottomed pan, add the Olive & Flaxseed Oil with heat over medium. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is cooked through.
Once it cooked through, add the tomato puree, the red chili and oregano.
Bring the sauce to a brisk allow the sauce to slightly thicken. Adjust the consistency of the sauce by adding more water if it become way to thick.
Once done, add the cooked spaghetti, the chopped spinach and basil leaves. Toss for 3 to 4 minutes until the spaghetti is well coated with the sauce and the spinach is cooked through. Check the taste and spice and adjust accordingly.
Once done, turn off the heat and serve the pasta along with garlic bread for a quick weeknight dinner.
