Sandesh is a delicious bengali sweet, that is made from cottage cheese and sugar. In this recipe, we have added a twist with the addition of strawberry oats making it fiber-rich and nutritious.

Ingredients

    • 8 cups milk
    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar 
    • 1/4 cup lemon juice
    • A pinch of green cardamom powder 
    • A generous pinch of saffron
    • 1 tablespoon warm milk
    • 1 packet Saffola strawberry oats
    • 8 pistachios, for garnish

How to make Oats Nut Crispbread

    • Heat the milk in a deep non-stick comes to a boil, add the lemon juice and stir till the milk curdles.Strain and immediately refresh in chilled water
    • Put the chhena in a muslin cloth and squeeze till all the water is drained out
    • Dissolve the saffron in one tablespoon of warm milk
    • Knead the chhena well with your palms. Add the sugar, Saffola strawberry oats green cardamom powder and saffron milk and knead again
    • Steam the mixture in a steamer for ten minutes
    • When slightly cooled divide into twelve equal portions and shape each into an oval shape
    • When cooled garnish with pistachios and serve
