Stuffed Hara Bhara Kebab Recipe

Stuffed Hara Bhara Kabab is a very popular North Indian Starter. At Fit Foodie, we have given it a very healthy & tasty twist by adding Oats & Mushroom to the Kabab.

Ingredients

    • 150g Boiled green peas
    • 150 g Spinach leaves
    • 100g paneer made with skimmed milk
    • 4 Tbsp whole wheat bread crumb
    • 3 tbsp plain instant Oats
    • 2 Tbsp Saffola Oil for shallow frying
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 Green chilli finally Chopped
    • 2 Tbsp coriander leaves
    • 2 tbsp mint leaves
    • 1 finely chopped ginger

     

     

    For stuffing

     

    • 50g chopped mushrooms
    • 50g finally chopped eggplant
    • 1/4 tsp ginger
    • 1tbsp raisins chopped
    • 1tbsp chili sauce
    • 1 tsp mint leaves
    • 1tsp Saffola oil
    • 1/5 tsp salt 

How to make Oats Nut Crispbread

    • In a food processor add everything other than oil and give it a whizz to combine everything well for 1 minute
    • A dough like mixture will form. Divide this dough into 8 portions and Keep aside

     

     

    To prepare Stuffing

     

     

    • Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and cook ginger for a minute and add finely chopped mushroom and eggplant in the pan
    • Cook for 2-3 minutes on high heat and season with salt and chilli sauce. Finally add mint leaves and let it cool for 5 minutes before stuffing them
    • Now take one portion of dough and flatten it in palm of your hand, place a tbsp of filling on it and turn all the edges inside and make a flat cutlet like shape after sealing all edges
    • Heat a non stick pan and grease it well with oil. When oil is heated through , place all the cutlets on the pan and let them cook 3-4 minutes each side till they become crisp and golden brown
    • Serve hot with green mint and coriander chutney
