Tori Saffron Pilaaf Recipe

    • 2tbsp milk
    • 1tsp saffron
    • 1tbsp saffola oil
    • I cup shallots
    • 2tbsp chopped garlic
    • 1tbsp chopped celery
    • 1cup chopped ridge gourd
    • 1cup soaked rice
    • 1 ½ cup water
    • 1tsp lemon zest
    • 1tsp lemon juice
    • 1tsp cracked pepper

How to make Tori Saffron Pilaaf

    • Heat milk in a pan, add saffron and cook for 30secs.
    • Heat oil in a cooking pot, add shallots, garlic, celery & cook for 2mins.
    • Add soaked rice & cook for 3-4mins.
    • Add the saffron milk & water to the cooking pot & cook for 10-12mins with the lid on.
    • Add lemon zest, lemon juice & pepper corns to the cooking pot & take the pot off the flame & keep for 10mins.
