Ingredients

    • Saffola Veggie Twist Oats - 1 packet
    • Water - 3 to 4 tbsp
    • Onion - 1 medium sized chopped finely
    • Turmeric powder - a generous pinch
    • Red Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
    • Sambar powder - 1/2 tsp (optional)
    • Coriander leaves - 2 tsp
    • Salt - to taste
    • To temper:
    • Oil - 2 tsp
    • Mustard seeds - 3/4 tsp
    • Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
    • Green Chillies - 1
    • Curry leaves – few
    • For Peanut Onion chutney:
    • Peanut - 1/2 cup or more
    • Onion, chopped cube - 1
    • Dry red chillies - 6-7
    • Soaked Tamarind - little bit
    • Urad dal - 2 tsp
    • Coconut pieces, grated - 1/4 cup
    • Salt to taste - as per taste
    • Oil - 2 tsp
    • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
    • Urad dal- 1 tsp
    • Asofaetida(hing) - a pinch
    • Dry red chillies,broken - 2
    • Curry leaves - 1 tsp

How to make Veggie Twist Oats Upma

    • Dry roast masala oats for few mins until slightly browned and nice aroma rises, set aside.
    • In non stick pan heat oil - add the items under 'to temper'.
    • Then add onion and saute for mins till it shrinks and is slightly browned.
