Whole Wheat Pasta in Healthy White Sauce Recipe

This is a pasta recipe with masala oats which is totally healthy, delicious and what’s more, it is totally guilt-free. So satisfy your cravings for Italian dishes without a worry and enjoy this pasta in the healthy white sauce.

    • 400 grams pasta
    • 100 grams soft paneer or ricotta cheese
    • 1 packet Saffola pepper & spice masala oats
    • 200 grams baby spinach, chopped
    • 100 grams onion, diced
    • 100 grams broccoli, diced
    • 20 grams basil
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
    • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly grated
    • 1 tablespoon Saffola oil

How to make Whole Wheat Pasta in Healthy White Sauce

    • In a pan dry roast oats and keep them aside
    • Cook pasta in large pot of boiling water till al dente that is cooked but still retains a bite. Strain and keep aside
    • In a blender jar mix 50ml of skim milk with paneer, salt, white pepper, roasted oats nutmeg and oregano. Whizz it to make a smooth paste
    • In another pan, heat Saffola oil, add onions and cook for 2 minutes till soft and translucent. Add chopped baby spinach, basil and broccoli to it
    • Cook for 4-5 minutes and add paneer paste to the pan, mix well cook for another 2-3 minutes. Finally, add cook pasta stir well and serve hot
