Delicious, healthy and very nourishing, this uttapam is a twist on the traditional South Indian uttapam recipe. Instead of using rice flour, ground oats and sooji are blended together, which is similar in taste to the original but in a healthier way. Cooking of the batter without oil, but with steaming makes it even more delicious. This uttapam can be garnished with coriander and eaten with coconut or tomato chutney on the side.
